Baptisms

For parents of children under the age of six, call the office, 459-7778 to schedule attendance at a baptism class. Baptism classes are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the parish office trailer (located behind Gorman next to the tennis courts). You may park in the tennis court parking lot next to our trailers--the gate will be open between the lot and our offices.

All baptisms at Holy Spirit take place during regular weekend liturgies and for babies under two years old, are by full immersion. Children two through six are baptized by pouring. Children over the age of six will attend a special sacramental preparation program in addition to a regular religious education program to prepare for reception of the sacrament at the Easter Vigil. Contact the office for more information.

NOTE: There are no baptisms during Lent. After you attend a baptismal preparation class, you may schedule your child's baptism for a date after Easter.
